Buffalo, New York, Dec. 6
Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc. (ECS), the largest privately held demand response provider in the country, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, has announced the hiring of Daniel Perez as Vice President of Technology.
Perez, who maintains a degree in Computer Science, has a great deal of experience in the technological field, and for the past several years has emerged as a leader in the field of building automation and energy management systems.
While working with mechanical engineering firms, Perez has assisted in designing and developing energy efficient specifications and standards for large commercial facility development.
“Dan has an extensive technology and control systems background which will bring ECS to a new level on the increasingly important technological side of demand response and will open more doors for our customers,” said Stephen Lynch, principal and cofounder of ECS.
As Vice President of Technology, Perez’ primary role will be to lead ECS into a quasi-transformation which will allow the company to significantly upgrade the capabilities of their existing customers regarding automated response. Perez will also look into the future in terms of what ECS can offer in other markets and to future customers.
